DirectTV Genie system and horrible customer support - Genie reciever


I have been a long time customer of Direct TV. I have never had as many problems with them as I have had since we upgraded to the new Genie. I have been without service on several occasion and have spent hours on the phone with customer service. Tonight was a totally different experience as I realized the have no concern except for the bottom line.

You see my service is OUT... AGAIN. Here is how this is different. Two months ago, I lost my husband. Falling asleep to the tv is the only way I can get myself to close my eyes and get some rest. When I am begging the agent to get my service fixed, she physically laughed at me for the reasons that I need this to be fixed now!. I am extremely angry!!! I will be out of TV service for 6 more days due to a "box" that needs to be replaced for the system. (Keep in mind, I have had this new system for less than 9 months). I am extremely disappointed in the lack of care and concern that these company has for their constituents.
